Booking

Is there a flight available?

If you book on time, a flight is usually available. After the reservation request we will find you a flight. We can only complete the reservation when we have received the payment.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, bookings need to be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Where can I book?

Bookings can be made online.

Can I pay on site?

Sorry, but no, the flight must be booked and paid for online.

When is the booking complete?

The flight reservation request is confirmed by the air operator within 72 hours of the booking. Payment should take place within 24 hours. We confirm the booking by e-mail upon payment and the boarding pass is send by e-mail.

I did not receive a confirmation e-mail

Confirmation e-mails are generated and sent automatically once a booking has been successfully completed. Check the spambox as it may be treating our emails as spam or junk mail. Contact us if there is no confirmation e-mail.

Is there a minimum age?

That differs per tour. Please check whether children are allowed in the 'Things to know' section on the tour page.

What does prefered date and time mean?

Our daily operations depend on many aspects such as availability of pilots, residual flying time of the planes, rules with regard to maximum pilot flying hours, restrictions by the airports and any weather influences. Our planning schedules are therefore subject to continuous change. We take account of the choice of day and time where possible, but it may be that we do not have a flight in keeping with the wishes.

Are there weight limitations?

That differs per tour. Please check the weight restrictions in the 'Things to know' section on the tour page. On booking you need to confirm that these are not exceeded. We might ask to confirm your weight before the flight. We don’t take risks on flight safety, so if we have any doubt, we will ask all passengers to step on the weighing scale.

I am disabled, will I be admitted?

Yes, that's possible! Please contact us so we can discuss how we can help you.

When do I know the departure time?

You find the definitive time on your boarding pass.

What is the duration of the flight?

The flight duration shown on our website the actual time that we will be rolling and flying! Please keep in mind that in addition to the flight time it always takes time before and afterwards to carry out all procedures.

Day of the flight

Where is the departure location?

The departure location is stated on the boarding pass that we send by email or check the tour page for the departure location details.

Can I park at the departure location?

That differs per tour. Please check in the 'Things to know' section on the tour page.

Is there public transport to the departure location?

Not all of our locations can be easily reached by public transport. So check carefully whether the departure location is easily accessible by public transport.

When do I need to be at the meeting point?

Please be on time for the flight. The definitive time is shown on the boarding pass. If you are not on time we might have to cancel or shorten the flight.

Do I need to bring my passport?

This depends on the departure location. If you need identification, this will be shown on the boarding pass.

Are there any safety regulations?

To ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable flight, we need your help in the flight preparation process. Working together ensures a safe, fun and unforgettable experience.

When will I be informed if the flight is cancelled?

In case we cannot fly, we'll inform you the latest 2 hours before the flight. We then do our very best to reschedule the flight. In case we do not find a suitable time, we will refund in full.

Is the flight cancelled in case of bad weather?

Yes, we do have to consider weather conditions. We cannot fly when it is too windy, with a low cloud base or when it is raining. We always try to avoid weather conditions that are not good for a sightseeing flight.

Should I call when the weather looks bad?

Yes, it is always a good idea to check prior to the flight if the weather looks bad. Feel free to call the air operator. The air operator phone number can be found on the boarding pass.

Cancel and reschedule

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, the booking can be canceled up to 48 hours before departure. We will refund the payment in full. If cancellation is within 48 hours before departure, no refund is given.

Can I reschedule my booking?

Yes, you can change the booking free of charge up to 48 hours before departure. If we cannot find a suitable time, we will refund the payment in full. It is not possible to reschedule the flight within 48 hours before departure.

Is the flight cancelled in case of bad weather?

Yes, we do have to consider weather conditions. We cannot fly when it is too windy, with a low cloud base or when it is raining. We always try to avoid weather conditions that are not good for a sightseeing flight.

I suffer from air sickness, what to do?

Depending on the weather, you may suffer from air sickness. If you are sensitive to this, we recommend that you take some beforehand against nausea. Make sure you have eaten beforehand.

What are your hours of operation?

Our office is open all year round. The availability of our sightseeing flights are shown on our website.

Do you have an AOC number?

Fly Over The World flights are carried out in cooperation with companies that hold a valid Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
