About 50 minutes from Queenstown Airport into the Southern Alps — the range that divides the South Island. From the air: the northern shores of Lake Wakatipu, Mount Aspiring, native forest, and glacial icefalls in the national park, then a snow landing among the peaks. Shared flight with The Helicopter Line. This is the westbound glacier flight; it is not the 25- or 35-minute basin circuit. Pickup from selected hotels and central Queenstown; check-in at 29 Lucas Place closes 30 minutes before departure.

Yes. Alpine seats sell out, and weather in the mountains can cancel a slot. Book ahead. Allow about an hour for pickup, briefing, and the flight. Check-in at the hangar closes 30 minutes before departure. Live dates are shown when you book.

Children fly with a paying adult. Unaccompanied minors are not taken. Infant seating is set by the operator when you book. Check the tour page, or email hello@flyovertheworld.com.

Cancellation follows the policy shown when you book — currently free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. No-shows and changes inside 24 hours are charged in full. If the operator cancels for weather, you are rebooked or refunded as shown when you book.

Everyone is weighed at check-in. Helicopters are up to 6 passengers, weight-dependent. If your weight at check-in is 15 kg or more above what you declared at booking, the operator may need to reschedule. Provide accurate dressed weights when you book, or email hello@flyovertheworld.com.

Your safety comes first, and we always aim for a pleasant experience. If weather conditions prevent the flight, we will contact you immediately to reschedule at no extra cost or offer a full refund. Our experienced pilots monitor conditions closely and have your contact details in case of last minute changes.

The Helicopter Line Queenstown collects you from selected hotels and central Queenstown, then drives you to the hangar at 29 Lucas Place, Frankton (Queenstown Airport). Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure. Reconfirm the day before. Follow the pickup time on your confirmation — Airbnb addresses are not a standard pickup; the operator will give the nearest point.
