Should I book in advance?
Yes. Sunrise balloons in Luxor sell out, and wind or the airport can cancel a morning with little notice. Book online ahead of time, and keep a spare morning in Luxor. Live dates are shown when you book.
Is there a minimum age?
This is a shared hot air balloon, not a helicopter. Hod Hod Soliman’s listing for this flight is ages 6 and up. You must be able to get in and out of the basket without help, and to stand for landing. Do not assume an infant can sit on a parent’s lap. Check the tour page, or email hello@flyovertheworld.com.
Can I cancel or rebook?
Cancellation follows the policy shown when you book — currently free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. If the operator or airport cancel for weather, you are rebooked or refunded as shown when you book.

What happens if the weather is bad?
Your safety comes first, and we always aim for a pleasant experience. If weather conditions prevent the flight, we will contact you immediately to reschedule at no extra cost or offer a full refund. Our experienced pilots monitor conditions closely and have your contact details in case of last minute changes.
Where do flights depart?
Hod Hod Soliman Hot Air Balloons collects you from your hotel or cruise boat in central Luxor, then transfers you to the west-bank launch field near Hatshepsut (the ballooning area under Luxor Airport control). Pickup is before dawn; follow the time on your confirmation. After landing you are returned to the hotel or boat.
