Sant Salvador rises above the Felanitx area in southeast Mallorca — a hilltop sanctuary and a landmark ridge against the sky. From the towns below you see the peak as a local backdrop. From a hot air balloon launched near Manacor you may pick it out among the hills when the wind drifts you that way. The Mallorca Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride is the shared sunrise flight that may bring those hills into view. Plan on about three to four hours for the full experience, from €189 per person, shared with up to 15. Meeting is at the Balloon Airport on MA-15 exit 44 near Manacor. The route follows the wind, so named sights are views you may see rather than a fixed overflight. Rural plain country on the Pla de Mallorca and distant mountains toward the Serra de Tramuntana sit in the same may-see set.
Private tickets follow the same rule. Couple flights often start nearer the sea when conditions allow, which can shift how much of the Felanitx country you see.
Do not book expecting a hover over the sanctuary or a fixed southeast circuit. Some flights stay over open fields or turn toward the coast and Capdepera country instead. On clear mornings you may also see Cabrera on the horizon — still may-see only.
