The 35-minute Grand Circle flies past the ski slopes on the basin circuit. The 25-minute Helicopter Tour with Alpine Landing does not guarantee Coronet — the pilot sets that track. The 50-minute Southern Glacier heads west to Mount Aspiring National Park and does not include this ski-field pass.
You do not land on the ski field and you do not ride a chairlift. You see Coronet from the helicopter, then continue to the alpine landing.
The extra minutes on the Grand Circle are what make Coronet a named part of the outing instead of a possible extra on the short flight. Stay on the 25-minute tour if you want the landing more than the basin circuit.
