See the Avenue of the Dead from the air — the long axis of Teotihuacán, Sun to one side, Moon at the end, a street you cannot read from one plaza. From the ground it is a walk. From the basket it is a line. You may fly along it. You may fly the valley beside it. The wind, not the brochure, sets the line.
All Teotihuacán balloons are this city at sunrise. Overflight of the pyramids is not guaranteed. The avenue is still the plan of the place even when you do not sit over it. Self-arrive at the balloon field, or a van from Reforma, or a private transfer: the air is the same problem of wind.
