The Grevelingen is an important nature reserve which is located in the Dutch delta.
The natural ecosystem has undergone major changes since the closure of this country in 1971 due to the construction of the delta works. By means of a passage in the Brouwersdam, currents and consecrations have been returned to the water to improve the conditions for local fish populations and the aquatic ecosystem. In addition, the Grevelingen offers a wonderful variety of fresh and saltwater combined with beautiful nature and beaches with shallow water, which is great for dogs and children to play in. An ideal place to visit with the family.
