A Victoria BC seaplane tour takes off from the water right in front of the city. You climb away from the Victoria Inner Harbour, with the BC Parliament Buildings on the shore, and head out along the coast. Below you is the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and on a clear day the Olympic Mountains rise across the water. The route can also take in the countryside of the Saanich Peninsula.
Then you come back down onto the harbour, a few steps from downtown. If you are in Victoria for a day or two, it is an easy way to see how the city, the sea and the mountains fit together.
The Victoria BC hub has one flight live, so the choice is simple.
The Victoria Inner Harbour seaplane tour
- Victoria Panorama 30-Minute Seaplane Tour, from CAD 216 per person. A shared scenic seaplane from the Inner Harbour. The 30 minutes cover boarding, take-off, the scenic flight, landing and getting off, so the time in the air is shorter than that. You may see the Inner Harbour, the BC Parliament Buildings, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the Olympic Mountains on clear days and the Saanich Peninsula. Includes luggage storage at the terminal during the flight, a digital tour-guide app, and the sustainability fee and GST.
This is a round trip from Victoria, not a transfer to Vancouver and not a Vancouver harbour flight. Bring your own headphones if you want to listen to the app’s narration on board.
