Sedona Helicopter Tour: Red Rocks, Cliff Dwellings and the Mogollon Rim

A Sedona helicopter tour shows you the red rocks the way the trails never can: Cathedral Rock and Bell Rock rising out of the desert, the walls of Boynton Canyon, and on the longer flights ancient Sinagua cliff dwellings tucked into ledges that are virtually inaccessible on foot. Every seat faces forward, with up to six passengers per helicopter.

All five flights on the Sedona hub are shared and leave from Sedona Airport, from a 10-minute loop to a 50-minute run out to the Mogollon Rim. Each longer flight adds country to the one before it.

Which Sedona helicopter tour to book

If you only want the famous rocks, the 10-minute flight covers them, and the sunset version is worth the step up for the light. The ruins are what the 20-minute flight adds, and the 30- and 50-minute flights are for remote canyon country you will not reach any other way.
