Positano, Amalfi and Capri: Your Amalfi Coast Helicopter Tour

An Amalfi Coast helicopter tour puts Positano, the town of Amalfi, the island of Capri and Sorrento into one flight of about 50 to 60 minutes, with the cliffs, bays and hillside towns of the coast below you.

Every flight on the Amalfi Coast hub is a private charter. The helicopter is yours for up to six guests, and the price covers the whole aircraft, VAT included, whether two of you fly or six. The three flights take in the same coast, so what you are really choosing is where you take off: Naples Airport, Ravello or Sorrento.

Choose your Amalfi Coast helicopter by where you are staying

None of the three lands or stops on the way. Extra flight time or a change of route is charged separately. For Ravello and Sorrento, the exact helipad is confirmed after you book.

Before you go

  • After you pay: the operations office contacts you to agree the take-off time and meeting point and to collect ID details for everyone flying, then sends a confirmation email. Transfers can be arranged on request at extra cost.
  • Cancellation: there is no free cancellation. Once the flight is confirmed, 10% of the price is charged; 30% from 7 to 14 days before departure; 50% from 72 hours to 7 days; 75% from 24 to 72 hours; and 100% within 24 hours or for a no-show. Book once your dates are firm.
  • Weather: if the captain cancels for weather that could affect safety, you may be offered another time, or a refund as flight credit, or in cash on request.
  • Who can fly: maximum 109 kg per passenger. Children fly with at least one adult, and infants under 2 sit on a parent’s lap. The Ravello listing notes that guests with reduced mobility can fly if they can sit in a helicopter seat with their legs bent.
  • Luggage: about one soft medium bag plus one very small hand item per passenger. Extra luggage is only on request and at extra cost.
