Nice Helicopter Tour: The French Riviera from Cannes to Menton in 20 Minutes

A Nice helicopter tour shows you the whole French Riviera in one sweep: west along the coast to the old ramparts of Antibes and the seafront of Cannes, then back east over the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer, the hilltop village of Èze, the harbour and towers of Monaco, and on to Menton near the Italian border. Driving that stretch takes most of a day. From the air it takes about 20 minutes.

The Nice hub has one flight, a shared panoramic ride in an Airbus helicopter with room for up to six guests.

The Nice French Riviera helicopter flight

Nice French Riviera 20-Minute Shared Helicopter Tour, from €232 per person. From Nice Côte d’Azur Airport you head west past Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Antibes, Golfe-Juan and Juan-les-Pins to Cannes, then turn east over Villefranche-sur-Mer, Èze, Cap d’Ail, Monaco, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and Menton, with La Turbie and Sainte-Agnès also on the flight path. The price includes a free one-way transfer from the city centre to the airport.

If you only have time for one look at the coast, this is it: the beaches of Cannes and the rock of Monaco on the same flight.

Before you go

  • Where: meet in front of Hotel Beau Rivage, 22 Rue Saint-François de Paule, in central Nice. The exact meeting time is confirmed after booking. After landing, Tramway Line 2 outside the airport takes you back to the centre; it is a public tram, not a private shuttle.
  • Minimum group: the flight needs at least 4 passengers to operate and takes no more than 6. If the minimum is not met, you get a full refund.
  • ID: give every passenger’s first and last name when you book, and bring ID for everyone. European ID cards are accepted; non-European citizens need a valid passport.
  • Who can fly: no minimum age is stated, and children can be booked. No weight limit is stated; if you have questions about seating or weight, check before you book.
  • Cancellation: free up to 24 hours before for a full refund. Flights depend on weather and local airspace; if yours cannot go ahead, a new date may be offered. There are no landings on the way; you take off and land at the airport.
