A Hunter Valley hot air balloon ride lifts you at sunrise over the vineyards around Pokolbin, with Lovedale and Rothbury often in view when the wind allows. After landing you sit down to breakfast with sparkling wine at Peterson House — the same place you met before dawn.
The Hunter Valley hub has one flight: a shared sunrise ride over Hunter Valley wine country.
The Hunter Valley sunrise balloon flight
Hunter Valley Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride, from A$369 per person. About 3.5 hours for the full morning. The route follows the wind, so named vineyards are views you may see, not a fixed path. There is often a chance to help with inflation or deflation when the crew invites it. After landing, transport returns you to Peterson House for breakfast with sparkling wine. Includes the flight, briefing, field transport and breakfast as listed when you book. Basket size is not stated on the booking page. Guide language is English.
