Hardangerfjord, Folgefonna and Trolltunga: Choosing Your Bergen Seaplane Tour

A Bergen seaplane tour starts on the water. You take off from the pier at Sandviken, climb over the city harbour, and within the hour you can be flying along Hardangerfjord towards the ice of Folgefonna. On the longest flight you also see Trolltunga, the rock tongue about 700 metres above Lake Ringedal, from the air.

Every flight is in a Cessna 206 with four passenger seats, and every flight ends with a water landing back at Sandviken. The three tours on the Bergen hub differ by how far you go: the fjords and mountains near the city, Hardangerfjord and the glacier, or all of that plus Trolltunga.

Three Bergen seaplane tours, from 35 to 80 minutes

If Trolltunga is why you came to Norway, only the private flight goes there. If the fjord and the glacier are enough, the shared hour costs NOK 4,650 a seat against NOK 22,233 for the whole aircraft.
