A Cairo helicopter tour puts the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Great Sphinx and the Giza Plateau desert under your doors at golden hour — about 30–35 minutes in the air from Almaza. Prefer a shorter, lighter craft? A 15-minute microlight or an about-13-minute tandem paramotor lifts you over the plateau from the Giza flight area, with soft Grand Egyptian Museum framing when routing and approvals allow.
The Cairo hub has three live scenic flights: a shared microlight from USD 200, a tandem paramotor from USD 210, and a shared golden-hour helicopter from USD 320. All are overflights only — no pyramid plateau landings. Named sights are weather- and approval-dependent.

Before you go
- Where: three different meeting places. Microlight meets at the Pyramids Visitor Centre / Great Gate; paramotor at Helipad 4 in the Giza flight area; helicopter at Almaza Airport on Cairo’s east side (transport included as listed). Your voucher names the exact desk — do not treat Almaza as the meet for every ticket. Exact timing is confirmed after booking.
- Minimum guests: the helicopter needs four guests to price as a full cabin. Singles or couples may pay for empty seats or wait for a full cabin — this is not an automatic underbook refund. Microlight and paramotor do not share that four-guest rule.
- Weight: microlight and paramotor state about 100 kg maximum passenger weight. Guests may be weighed. A hard public kg limit is not stated on the helicopter listing — follow check-in guidance.
- Landings: none. All three tickets are scenic overflights — no pyramid plateau landings.
- Cancellation: full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled start. Routes need weather and flight approvals; soft “you may see” for named sights. Flexible dates early in your stay help.
