London Thames 35-Minute Private Helicopter Tour

This private flight follows the River Thames through the heart of London. It departs from Redhill Aerodrome in Surrey, about 20 miles (32 km) south of central London, at Hangar 1 on Kings Mill Lane (RH1 5JY), not from the city. After take-off you cross the Surrey countryside and the M25, pass through the Heathrow control zone and join the Thames at Barnes. From there the route names the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Trafalgar Square, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Globe Theatre, the City, the Tower of London, HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge, the Olympic Stadium and Canary Wharf, before returning to Redhill via Croydon. You spend about 35 minutes in the air at about 1,000 feet, just above the height of the Shard, with pilot commentary; allow about an hour in total. The helicopter is private for your group: £1,055 (GBP) covers the whole helicopter for up to 3 guests, including taxes and fees. Online check-in for every passenger must be completed at least 48 hours before the flight, with names, dates of birth, nationality, weights and photo ID details. On the day, arrive 30 minutes before take-off with photo ID (passport, driving licence or national ID card); late arrival may mean no flight and no refund. There is no pickup and no space for bags on board; items can be left at the office. The minimum age is 6, and children under 16 fly with an adult. Weight is limited to 136 kg (21 st) per seat; if anyone weighs over 95 kg (15 st), contact the operator through the booking page before booking so weight and balance can be confirmed. Limited mobility, epilepsy, heart conditions and pregnancy may prevent flying. Tickets are non-refundable: all sales are final and there is no refund if you cancel.
