About 15–20 minutes in the air and about 15 minutes on a summit, 30–45 minutes all in, from Norðurflug at Reykjavik Domestic Airport (BIRK), east hangar. Shared flight, small group; one passenger can book. You pass Reykjavik from the air — Harpa, Perlan, Hallgrímskirkja — then land on Mount Esja or another nearby summit. The pilot picks the pad from the weather that day. You do not hike the mountain. This is not the hour to Hengill, and it is not the Reykjanes lava flight. Hotel pickup is not included. Wear sturdy shoes for the landing.

Meet at the east hangar of Reykjavik Domestic Airport (BIRK) — Building 313 / Hangar 1, Nauthólsvegur 58d — not the Air Iceland side. Office 9am–5pm Icelandic time. Infants sit on an adult's lap. Children fly with an adult. There is no published minimum age on these listings. Check the tour page, or email hello@flyovertheworld.com.

Cancellation follows the policy shown when you book — currently free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. No-shows and changes inside 24 hours are charged in full. If the operator cancels for weather, you are rebooked or refunded as shown when you book.

Everyone is seated for weight and balance; you do not choose a seat. Passengers over 120 kg / 265 lbs are required to purchase an extra half seat, payable to the operator on the day. Provide accurate dressed weights when you book, or email hello@flyovertheworld.com.

Your safety comes first, and we always aim for a pleasant experience. If weather conditions prevent the flight, we will contact you immediately to reschedule at no extra cost or offer a full refund. Our experienced pilots monitor conditions closely and have your contact details in case of last minute changes.

Norðurflug flies from Reykjavik Domestic Airport (BIRK), east side — Building 313 / Hangar 1, Nauthólsvegur 58d, behind Icelandair Hotel Natura, between Isavia and Eagle Air. Not the west side where Air Iceland is. GPS may want Building 313, Hangar 1, or Nauthólsvegur. Reconfirm with Norðurflug on +354-562-2500 at least one day before. Office hours 9am–5pm Icelandic time, daily. Complimentary coffee, tea, and water at the office. Free parking. Taxi about five minutes from the centre. Hotel pickup is not included. Be at the hangar at the time on your confirmation.
