The Mountain Summit Landing is the Reykjavik flight built around this stop. About 15–20 minutes in the air and about 15 minutes on a summit, 30–45 minutes all in — 40–45 on the operator’s own timing. The pad is Esja or another nearby summit; the pilot picks it from the weather that day. On the way you pass the city from the air: Harpa, Perlan, Hallgrímskirkja. The extra of this ticket is the landing, not a longer circuit of the same ridge. The geothermal hour is steam and mud in a different valley. The Reykjanes flight is lava and craters from recent eruptions. Stay on the Summit Landing if the city-and-ridge loop with a stop on top is the point. It is the shortest of the three, and the one that puts you on a mountain.
From the pad you look back at Reykjavik from the air — the same city pass you get on the way out. That overflight is on this short product and again on the geothermal return. It is not a second mountain stop. Hellisheiði sits on the eastbound geothermal run, not on this flight.
