You do not land on Baldy. You do not ski Nakiska. You sit, you look, you land at the same Nakoda pad. Commentary points out the lookout, Barrier Lake, and the ski hill as the path allows. The circuit also takes the far side of Barrier Lake toward Mount Lorette, Barclay’s, and Skogan Peak on the way back.
The extra of this ticket is the Kananaskis front in twenty minutes, not a glacier hour. Stay on twenty if Baldy and Barrier Lake from above are the point. Take thirty from the same pad for Minnewanka. Take twenty-five from Canmore for the Three Sisters.
Lake Minnewanka is the longer Nakoda circuit. The Three Sisters leave from Canmore. Mount Assiniboine is the pyramid farther west. Another alpine front from the air on this site is Jungfrau; this lookout is Kananaskis.
