See Table Mountain from the air — a flat-topped wall above the City Bowl, Lion’s Head and Signal Hill beside it, the Atlantic on one side. You see it after lift-off from the V&A Waterfront; you do not fly over the plateau.
All four flights look at it. The 12-minute City Hopper takes it on the way out and back. The 20-minute Atlantic Coast and the longer tours give more of the mountain as a backdrop, then continue down the seaboard.
You do not land on Table Mountain and you do not fly over it. It is a national park; the view is from beside and around it.
The extra minutes on the Atlantic Coast are more of the amphitheatre against the coast, not a second pass over the top. Stay on the City Hopper if the city and beaches are the point.
