Hout Bay

See Hout Bay from the air — harbour, beach, and Karbonkelberg, the turn on the Atlantic Coast flight. From the valley you get one beach; from the helicopter you get the bay as a whole. The 12-minute City Hopper does not go this far south.

The 20-minute Atlantic Coast is built around this turn: a 180 back toward the V&A. Two Oceans and the Peninsula continue past here toward False Bay or Cape Point.

You do not land at the harbour. You see Hout Bay from the helicopter, then the pilot turns or continues.

The extra minutes over the 12-minute City Hopper are how Hout Bay becomes a named waypoint. The Two Oceans extra after this bay is the crossing to False Bay.
