A 30-minute shared helicopter over Sydney’s coast and harbour: Bondi, Manly, Dee Why, Opera House, and the Bridge from the air.

About 30 minutes from Sydney Airport: the eastern and northern beaches — Coogee, Bondi, Manly, Dee Why, and Curl Curl — then the harbour past the Opera House and Harbour Bridge on the way back. Shared helicopter with Sydney HeliTours. The extra 10 minutes is that northern-beaches stretch the 20-minute flight does not have. Check in 20 minutes before departure at 472 Ross Smith Ave, Mascot.

FAQ

Yes. Shared harbour seats sell out, and weather or air traffic control can cancel a slot. Book ahead. Check in 20 minutes before departure. Live dates for the shared flights are shown when you book; the private tours use the times listed on those pages.

Shared harbour flights are not sold for children under 2. On private flights the operator may allow one child under 2 on an adult’s lap if the aircraft has the right seatbelts — do not assume this. Everyone else needs their own seat and must sit upright. Check the tour you book, or email hello@flyovertheworld.com.

For the shared harbour flights, cancellation follows the policy shown when you book — currently free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. For private flights, cancellation within 72 hours is not refunded; within 7 days a 50% fee may apply. No-shows and late arrivals can lose the seat with no refund. Weather cancellations are rebooked or refunded by the operator. Questions: hello@flyovertheworld.com.

Everyone is weighed at check-in. On shared flights the individual limit is 100 kg; combined limits are 180 kg for two passengers, 240 kg for three, and 320 kg for four unless the operator confirms otherwise. Private flights have seat and combined limits set by the aircraft. Provide accurate weights when you book — a variance of more than 8 kg or 10% can mean you cannot fly. See the tour you book, or email hello@flyovertheworld.com.

Your safety comes first, and we always aim for a pleasant experience. If weather conditions prevent the flight, we will contact you immediately to reschedule at no extra cost or offer a full refund. Our experienced pilots monitor conditions closely and have your contact details in case of last minute changes.
