What are the weight and health restrictions?
Helicopters have strict weight-and-balance limits and passengers may be weighed at check-in. Limits vary by aircraft and are set by 4FLY RJ. See the tour you book, or email hello@flyovertheworld.com.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Your safety comes first, and we always aim for a pleasant experience. If weather conditions prevent the flight, we will contact you immediately to reschedule at no extra cost or offer a full refund. Our experienced pilots monitor conditions closely and have your contact details in case of last minute changes.
Where do flights depart?
Flights are with 4FLY RJ at Jacarepaguá Airport, Av. Ayrton Senna 2541, R. D2, Hangar 20, Barra da Tijuca. Closed-door flights: arrive about 45 minutes before. Doors-off flights: arrive at least 60 minutes before — late arrivals may be denied boarding. Bring photo ID. Closed-door aircraft: up to 4 passengers. Doors-off: up to 3 (larger groups are split). From Copacabana or Ipanema allow 40–60 minutes in traffic. Flight times are estimates; the helicopter follows a route.
