This is the shortest Fox Glacier scenic helicopter on this hub: about 25 minutes from the township base on Main South Road (SH6), shared for up to six passengers. The path lifts over Fox Glacier township toward the icefalls and neve, then aims for a snow landing when conditions allow — typically about 6–8 minutes on the ice before the return to Fox. A snow landing is weather-dependent and not guaranteed; the final call is usually around check-in. Meet at the heliport; there is no hotel pickup. Arrive 30 minutes before departure for check-in and weighing. Parking is across the road from the building. Warm layers, sturdy covered shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a camera help on the snow if you land. No per-person weight maximum; total passenger weight for the helicopter must stay within about 487 kg. No minimum age; infants and children fly with a paying adult. Shared helicopters seat up to six and usually need at least three paying passengers to confirm, so book as early as your plans allow. Live availability shows when you book.

No minimum age on Fox Glacier helicopter Experiences. Infants (0–3) and children (4–14) fly with a paying adult.

Full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure. If the flight is cancelled for weather, another time or a full refund is offered as shown when you book. Snow landings are weather-dependent and not guaranteed even when the flight goes ahead.

There is no per-person maximum. Total passenger weight for the helicopter must stay within about 487 kg. Weights are checked at check-in; large differences from the weight you declared when booking may require a reschedule.
