Lake basin first — glaciers when you go longer
The 25-minute flight is the short shared loop over Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu with an alpine landing the pilot sets for the day — it does not push deep into Mount Aspiring National Park. The 35-minute Grand Circle adds Shotover canyons and Coronet Peak ski slopes before the precipice landing. The 50-minute Southern Glacier run is the westbound flight: northern shores of Lake Wakatipu, Mount Aspiring, native forest, glacial icefalls, then a snow landing among the peaks. It is not the short basin circuit.

Before you go
Allow about an hour for pickup, briefing, and the flight. Check-in at 29 Lucas Place closes 30 minutes before departure; reconfirm the day before. Children fly with a paying adult; unaccompanied minors are not taken. Everyone is weighed at check-in — if your weight is 15 kg or more above what you declared at booking, the operator may need to reschedule. Provide accurate dressed weights when you book.
