Should I book in advance?
Yes. Morning balloon seats sell, and weather can cancel a lift. Book ahead. Pickup is before dawn so you reach the launch site for sunrise. Allow about five hours camp to drop-off. Live dates are shown when you book.
Is there a minimum age?
Children under 5 are not taken. Ages 5–7 fly with a responsible adult. The listing is not for pregnant travellers, back or heart problems, or impaired mobility. Check the tour page, or email hello@flyovertheworld.com.
Can I cancel or rebook?
Cancellation follows the policy shown when you book — currently free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. No-shows and changes inside 24 hours are charged in full. If the operator cancels for weather, you are rebooked or refunded as shown when you book.
What are the weight and health restrictions?
Baskets are weight-limited. This listing is not sold for passengers over 120 kg; confirm when you book. You must be at least 1.2 m tall. Provide accurate dressed weights, or email hello@flyovertheworld.com.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Your safety comes first, and we always aim for a pleasant experience. If weather conditions prevent the flight, we will contact you immediately to reschedule at no extra cost or offer a full refund. Our experienced pilots monitor conditions closely and have your contact details in case of last minute changes.
Where do flights depart?
Miracle Experience collects you from your camp or lodge inside Serengeti National Park, within range of the launch site in use. Pickup is before dawn; the time is on your confirmation. Seronera is the year-round pad; other pads follow the season. Tea and coffee at the launch site. After breakfast, drop-off follows the confirmation — often the visitor centre or your camp. Transfers from outside the park, and park entry if you are staying outside the park, are not in the ticket.
