About 35–45 minutes from Norðurflug at Reykjavik Domestic Airport (BIRK), east hangar. Shared flight, small group of six or fewer; one passenger can book. You fly over the Sundhnúkur eruption site near Grindavík and the new lava and craters from the 2021–2024 eruptions on Reykjanes. A landing is included depending on restrictions — weather, wind, air traffic, and volcanic gas. Flowing lava is not a promise; the eruption is not currently active. This is not the Esja summit landing, and it is not the Hengill geothermal hour. Hotel pickup is not included. Complimentary coffee and tea at the hangar.
