See the Golden Gate Bridge from the air \u2014 the span between Marin and the city, Baker Beach under it, the Marin Headlands behind. From Crissy Field it is a walk. From a seaplane or helicopter it is the orange you came for. The 30-minute Golden Gate seaplane is the San Francisco<\/a> ticket built around this view: Muir Woods, the Headlands, the bridge, downtown, Alcatraz, Angel Island, Tiburon, Belvedere, back to Sausalito. About 30 minutes. Window seat. Shared at the from-price. The Golden Gate helicopter is the same bridge from a rotor, about 25\u201330 minutes. You do not land on the span. You do not walk the deck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The short Alcatraz helicopter may only pass offshore of the city; the bridge is not its main product. The 45-minute Greater Bay seaplane keeps the bridge and adds Stinson Beach and more Marin coast. Sunset champagne is this bridge in evening light, private for two, a glass included. Weather and airspace can move the line. Named sights are the usual path, not a promise in fog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You do not get a ferry. You sit. Check in at 242 Redwood Highway in Mill Valley; the seaplane leaves the water in Richardson Bay. Helicopters use the same Commodore helipad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The extra of 45 minutes is Marin coast after this span, not a closer hover. The extra of sunset is the hour and the glass. Stay on the 30-minute seaplane if the bridge is the point. Take the Alcatraz helicopter if you only want the Rock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alcatraz<\/a> sits in the same bay. Muir Woods<\/a> is the redwood look on the seaplane. Angel Island<\/a> is the other island. Sausalito<\/a> is the town you leave. Napa is another Bay Area flight on this site, balloons not this bridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
