Sant Salvador rises above the Felanitx area in southeast Mallorca \u2014 a hilltop sanctuary and a landmark ridge against the sky. From the towns below you see the peak as a local backdrop. From a hot air balloon launched near Manacor you may pick it out among the hills when the wind drifts you that way. On the Mallorca<\/a> hub it is a wind-dependent view on shared and private sunrise rides, not a landing and not a guaranteed close pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mallorca Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride<\/a> is the shared sunrise flight that may bring those hills into view. Plan on about three to four hours for the full experience, from \u20ac189 per person, shared with up to 15. Meeting is at the Balloon Airport on MA-15 exit 44 near Manacor<\/a>. The route follows the wind, so named sights are views you may see rather than a fixed overflight. Rural plain country on the Pla de Mallorca<\/a> and distant mountains toward the Serra de Tramuntana<\/a> sit in the same may-see set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Private tickets follow the same rule. The Mallorca Private Couple Hot Air Balloon Ride<\/a> (from \u20ac800 per group, up to 2) and the Mallorca Private Hot Air Balloon Ride<\/a> (from \u20ac1,080 per group, 4 or 6; about 3.5 hours for the full experience) may show southeast hills including Sant Salvador depending on the morning wind. Couple flights often start nearer the sea when conditions allow, which can shift how much of the Felanitx country you see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do not book expecting a hover over the sanctuary or a fixed southeast circuit. Some flights stay over open fields or turn toward the coast and Capdepera<\/a> country instead. On clear mornings you may also see Cabrera<\/a> on the horizon \u2014 still may-see only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet at the Balloon Airport on the MA-15 (Palma\u2013Manacor) at exit 44 near Manacor \u2014 the site sits at the junction (look for the balloon-airport sign). Check in at the desk in the building. Exact meeting time is confirmed the day before your flight. Hotel transfer is not included; make your own way. An optional transfer may be available for an extra charge if arranged in advance. Shared sunrise flights hold up to 15 passengers in the basket. Minimum age 4. On the shared sunrise flight, children 4\u201311 are priced as children; adults are 12 and over. An adult must book. No fixed maximum weight is published. Guests over about 100 kg should check before booking \u2014 an extra charge may apply. Not recommended for travellers with spinal injuries.
