North-shore valleys feel remote even though the flight is only about an hour; the cliffs hide road ends and trailheads that look close on a map. That is part of the appeal and part of the honesty \u2014 you are sightseeing from a shared helicopter, not joining a valley cultural tour. Same weight and ID rules as the volcano ticket. No hotel pickup. Parking is in the paved Commuter Terminal lot in front of the office; skip the gravel cellular lot next door to avoid towing. Afternoon light on the cliffs can turn the waterfalls into bright threads against the green, while morning flights sometimes meet thicker cloud on the windward face. Either way the ticket remains a coast-and-valleys overflight, not a weather-proof panorama.
