Mount Teide is Tenerife\u2019s high volcanic peak \u2014 the island\u2019s central mass rising above coastal resorts. From the road you see one ridge or crater approach at a time. From a shared helicopter the peak and high country may sit in a wider volcanic frame when mid and longer routes and visibility allow. On the Tenerife<\/a> hub Teide is a named may-see on west-coast and Gran Teide tickets \u2014 a view from the air, never a summit landing or a cable-car stop on these flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tenerife Gran Teide 40-Minute Helicopter Tour<\/a> is the longest shared look: about 40 minutes in the air, from EUR 545 per person. After Adeje check-in the shared path may frame Teide with Teno, Garachico<\/a> and Corona Forestal country as listed when conditions allow. The Tenerife Los Gigantes 18-Minute Helicopter Tour<\/a> (about 18 minutes, from EUR 295) may show Teide views on the return from Los Gigantes<\/a>. Shared helicopters seat up to about 4 passengers. Shared flights are not private \u2014 empty seats may be sold to other guests. A private cabin means purchasing four tickets. These tickets are continuous scenic overflights only \u2014 no scenic landing is stated on the booking. Treat Teide as soft \u201cyou may see\u201d framing \u2014 haze, cloud on the peak and route changes can hide the summit. Do not invent a guaranteed close pass over the crater.
