A Victoria Falls helicopter tour is the spray curtain from both banks, Batoka Gorge<\/a> cutting downstream, and the upper Zambezi<\/a> stretching back toward the islands. From Victoria Falls Town you leave the lodge, transfer to Kazungula Airstrip, and the falls open under the skids \u2014 the full width of the curtain in one look that the riverside walk cannot give you. Falls and gorge first \u2014 game country when you go longer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The 12-minute scenic flight covers the upper Zambezi<\/a> and the falls from both sides, then a stretch of Batoka Gorge<\/a> back to the helipad \u2014 it does not continue into Zambezi National Park<\/a>. The 25-minute game flight adds Long Island<\/a> on the upper Zambezi<\/a> and a pass over Zambezi National Park<\/a>. Keep an eye out for elephant, hippo, crocodile, buffalo, giraffe, and kudu; sightings are not guaranteed. Both are shared flights with headsets on board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fly Over The World\u2019s Victoria Falls location hub<\/a> lists two shared flights with Mjair from the helipad at Kazungula Airstrip on the Victoria Falls\u2013Kazungula highway. Hotel pickup in Victoria Falls Town is included; wait in the lobby 10 minutes before the pickup time on your confirmation. After the flight you are returned to the lodge. No large bags.
